Grateful 'THE ZEBRA AFFAIRE' is resonating during these difficult times. Must share with you this recent message:
"My hubby and I have been in C-19 lockdown up for months. Our home outside Lansing, Michigan is feeling now kind of claustraphobic. We are big readers so we decided to read books about far off places to open up our horizons. On Goodreads we were recommended your Zebra Affaire and decided to read it. Or rather, listen to it.
Audiobooks are a new experience but my hubby and I have enjoyed sharing your story by listening together. Otherwise reading can be so solitary. We were both gripped by Elsa and Stanwell's inspiring, yet difficult journey. Especially in context of the racial tensions we are experiencing now in the US. This made Zebra Affaire very topical and personally relevant to us.
But it was the fab voice of Dennis Kleinmen that freed us from our small Michigan neighborhood and took us to Africa. His accents of the various characters and his discriptions of animals on safari was just what we needed to open ourselves up to our great big world.
We will wholeheartedly recommend your book to friends and family, including the audiobook version."
